MA Hung Kwan, head of the Ten Thousand Horses Sect and PAK Tin Yu of the Black Sabre Sect were blossom friends. However as the Black Sabre Sect grew increasingly powerful, MA became jealous and conspired with both PAK's enemies and his followers to assassin PAK at the Plum Monastery.
