VINCENT calls LING up telling her that he has won the case and reminding her to wait for him. BEN goes to meet LING, where he sees VINCENT sitting in an ice-cream van going all the way to pick LING up. BEN is left with a feeling of disappointment when he sees the scene. BEN meets JESSICA, who is waiting alone for VINCENT at the restaurant. He cannot bear to tell her the truth and the two lonely souls end up spending the night drinking themselves into oblivion. BEN escorts JESSICA back to her home and in turn interrupts NA’s date with her business partner LEE MING KIT. For the whole night, BEN sleeps on the floor of JESSICA’s bedroom. The next morning when they are on their way to work, they meet their colleague LEE MEI LI.
