HING suggests they each write a piece of story. Whoever writes better will get the job. HING likes both of their stories. KWAN therefore suggests using both, and naming the column “Mixed Soup”. HOI and NGA do not want to carry on writing for the column. However, someone has placed an ad on the page already and so it is too late to cut the column.
