Ki is hurt and faints when she is running away. She also loses her memory and exchanges her identity with Sham Hung carelessly. Ki also meets a village girl, Yuen Yee Yee, who is a singer of a village choir. With Yee's help, Ki could settle down temporarily. Yee finds a letter addressing Sham Hung in Ki. She discovers that Hung's father is the choir leader, Sham Kwong Fai's patron. Hung's mother orders Hung to follow Kwong Fai. Fai is cunning and mean. He is reluctant to let Ki stay with him.
